  1. Recently I cut my hand open and needed stitches, first thing that ran through my head was, "Great I gotta sit for at least 3 hours while I'm bleeding till I can see a doctor." If you think I'm gonna bitch about the wait times, you're wrong. That's too obvious, too easy. 1. The male nurse calls me in finally to my hospital room to wait for a doctor, he's kinda got this look on hi s face and I dunno why. He seats me and tells me he was expecting a girl when he called out my name, "JC." Are you fucking kidding me? You're a male nurse and you're calling me out for a girl's name? I've never even met a girl named JC. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with male nurses but if you call me out, I'm gonna call you out too. 2. This young lady comes in and introduces herself, "Hi I'm dr...." she says to me. I didn't even catch her name cause I was too busy thinking, "Ya fucking right, this isn't college hands on learning time. Go get the real doctor to stitch up my hand." You may think I'm just judging her cause she's young but it goes further. She asks my wife to adjust the overhead light, the doctor's taller than my wife and I can probably barely reach the light myself, I'm 5'10". Do it yourself. It gets worse. She asks my wife to get stuff out of the cabinet for her and asks her to open it but since it's sterilized, to make sure not to actually touch it. You have got to be kidding me? You're the doctor, do it your damned self, This isn't doctor workshop, learn how to be a doctor type of thing. You need help, go get a nurse or someone trained. 3. Now common sense, I would assume, is important to being a doctor. So If my right hand is cut open needing stitches, why the fuck would you sit on my left side and make me put my arm uncomfortably across my chest and in an awkward position just so you can work on my right hand on my left side? Plus have the nerve to bitch at me about not being able to keep it in place. Here's a hint, sit on my right side to work on my right hand so I can hold it in whatever the fuck position you want. You may think I'm being hard on this young doctor but honestly, one mistake is all it takes. Just one tiny little "oops" and there goes her career. Get your shit together.
